Tarot is a historic card game of divination from which modern playing cards may have evolved. The exact origin of Tarot is lost in time but it was introduced in Europe during the Fourteenth Century.
Rider Tarot – The Greatest Arcane was the first software authorized to use the Rider_Waite deck in 1986. The Rider Tarot deck is the most popular Tarot deck in the world. Users may use the 22 Major Arcane or the 78 Major/Minor Arcane. Eleven of the most popular card spreads have been programmed including the Star Spread, Celtic Cross, French Cross, Planetary Spread, Consequences Spread, Past Present Future Spread, and the Zodiac Spread. Individual cards may be selected from the pull down menu. Images are presented upright and reversed. Rider Tarot is completely menu driven. Readings may be printed for future reference.
Rider Tarot – Light Edition is designed to provide users with slower modems the opportunity to evaluate this shareware title. The only difference is the limited number of animations and music files.
