D_back is a data-backup software designed to simplify automatic backing up data of your personal computer, network resources or remote FTP sites. This tool will help you flexibly to manage preserving of files and folders with the minimal efforts on the MS Windows 9x/NT/2000/ME/XP operation systems. The intuitive interface makes D_back the perfect backup tool for both beginners and experienced users. With a few mouse clicks program let you easily prepare a backup profile, for further regular backing up at any time. Your backups will be stored in various compression formats on any storage media, including CD-RW. In addition exists possibility automatically to transfer backup by e-Mail. D_back supports standard Zip compression, and allows to use any external files compression programs for creating backups. The best backup strategy (FULL, INCREMENTAL, STACK, ADVANCED STACK) can be chosen for any kind of data, depending on dynamic characteristics and size of the processable data. The management of the files lists to be backed up is simple and flexible. Included and excluded files are specified separately, wildcards (* ?) are allowed in all paths or file names. There is no problem to organize regular automatic backing up. D_back distribution kit contains command-line backup utility, which is useful for joint use with the windows task schedulers. The results of backing up can be completely checked up at any time. The history of all startings, errors and warning messages are registered in a log file, and can be automatically transferred to the user via e-Mail.
